First Visit
Your initial visit will last approximately 60 minutes, in which you should wear loose-fitting clothes, or stretchy material (like leggings) that are comfortable to move around in or receive bodywork in. We will be taking a look at your movement, posture, and testing strength and range of motion in an initial visit, as well as provide as much treatment as possible, including manual therapy or exercises. We do not always have time to perform an internal exam on the first visit, but are happy to upon request and if appropriate. If you are menstruating, you can still come to any of your appointments. You will also need to bring your insurance card, and make sure you complete your paperwork 48 hours prior to your initial appointment. You do not need a referral from your provider unless specifically required by your insurance plan and can schedule right away.
Scheduling
To schedule an appointment with our providers, you may do so by booking online here if you are a current patient, or by contacting our office at (971) 337-6372 for an initial evaluation. We have multiple providers available Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8am and 6:30pm. If you have any questions regarding our services, techniques, or any scheduling challenges please contact our office prior to scheduling online.
Insurance Coverage
Currently we are in-network with many insurance plans, listed here. Although we are credentialed with these insurance plans, it is your responsibility to know and understand your coverage when scheduling an appointment with us. Services that are not covered under insurance will become patient responsibility. We collect copays and deductibles up front, so please understand your plan and if you are subject to a deductible for physical or occupational therapy. We do attempt to bill insurance, but patients will be responsible for any denied or non-covered services, or a lapse in coverage. If you are unsure of your coverage, please contact your insurance carrier to double check your coverage, or contact our office with any questions you may have.
Additional paperwork may be required in order for our office to obtain an authorization from your insurance company, so please be aware of this request as it may be time sensitive.
Office Location
and Parking
We are located in Suite 202 at 11 NE MLK Jr. Blvd. Portland, OR. 97232 in the colorful “Fair-Haired Dumbbell” building, on the east side of the Burnside bridge. Unfortunately, we do not have on-site parking, so you will need to find street parking between SE 3rd. St. - SE 6th. St., and NE Couch St. - SE Ankeny St. We require a check in time that is 10 minutes prior to your appointment. Please plan accordingly as we will not be able to extend your appointment slot if you are late and there may be fees associated with being 15 minutes late.
Cancellation Policy
Unfortunately, we experience a high volume of cancellations and we have a strict cancellation policy in place to keep our clinic running. Our policy requires patients to notify us 24 hours in advance of the appointment if it needs to be cancelled. If a patient is unable to physically make their appointment time, we are able to offer our patients a telehealth appointment to waive the cancellation fee. If a patient cannot attend the appointment virtually, a fee of $150 will be applied for late cancellations or no shows. We understand emergencies do happen, and we will absolutely provide a courtesy 50% discount if needed for the first time. We do waive fees for those on Medicaid and Medicare insurance policies, but have a strict 2 offense policy for those folks. We hate to be so strict, and do not want to create more financial burden for anyone. As a small clinic, we’ve had to put this policy in place to make sure we can fill last minute openings accordingly. Thank you for understanding and providing 24 hours notice!
Requesting documents or billing inquiries
To request your chart notes, documentation, or detailed statements for tax or insurance purposes you can contact our office administrator by phone at (971) 337-6372 or at info@vibrancypelvichealth.com. Please include a detailed email with your name, date of birth, and what information you are requesting and allow 5 business days for a response. If this is an urgent request, please note that in the subject line. If you are requesting documents on behalf of another individual, we will need expressed written consent from the individual the documents are being requested.

No! We are a highly specialized team with many skills and tools. We use things like diagnostic ultrasound, EMG (muscle) biofeedback, and provide manual therapy and prescribe exercises. We do offer internal pelvic manipulation which can be tremendously helpful in some cases. We know that many patients have had experiences that caused them pain or that the pelvic area can be a sensitive one. We will always provide education about why a pelvic assessment treatment might be helpful for your individual case, and provide the option. Patients do not have to get internal assessment if they are not comfortable with it, and we will always ask for explicit consent.

It is possible, though uncommon, to feel a little sore post treatment, similar to that of receiving a massage. Treatment includes trigger point release, but these points typically release very quickly with the breath and awareness. The techniques we use are integrative and we will give you tools for aftercare.

Absolutely! We will adapt treatment to be more gentle during menstruation. If you are wanting to skip an internal treatment during menstruation, there are other treatment modalities we can focus on that day.

Yes. It is safe to receive internal work with an IUD. We do not perform deep abdominal massage with an IUD in place.

Absolutely! We welcome and work with all bodies including trans and gender non-conforming individuals.

Yes! There are so many things we can help with, whether it's pain and need for incremental dilation, nursing, positioning in general, protocols for restoring bladder health with nutrition and behavioral adaptations, massage techniques, somatic coaching and relaxation, fitness plans...the list goes on! In person meetings are great, especially if you want an evaluation of your pelvic floor muscles. However, virtual care can offer you the flexibility to receive care at home.
